1 Week Celebration

On the 18th Carter celebrated his 1 week birthday! We didn't do a lot to celebrate, but we did take some adorable pictures :)

 

I should clarify that he was totally content throughout this whole process. A few of his faces look like pre-cries, but they are just some of his charm!

 



I love those baby hands and feet :)

This was one of the first time Carter had experienced tummy time, and he was quite enthralled by it :). These are also some of the best pictures I have taken with my new camera, and I'm quite proud of them.

 

Carter has quite a lot of dark hair, and not just on his shoulders and back! He has a full head of hair that, when it's clean, sticks up like downy fur on a chick or duckling :).

 And a lovely little bum shot...he actually has a pretty small bum, but it was just a great angle.

We are so lucky to have Mr. Carter James in our family, and are enjoying every day of him getting more alert and observant. We are still working at figuring him out, as we will be for the next 20+ years, but we are already enjoying him as an addition to our little family.
